Contact us

List-It is operated by Bay Web Co Limited (NZBN [Bay Web Co Ltd NZBN]), trading as List-It. Email: info@list-it.nz · Registered office: [address]. For privacy matters: Privacy Officer, info@list-it.nz.

Report content or a user

Use the Report button on any listing, profile, event or message, or email info@list-it.nz. We prioritise reports about scams, prohibited goods, harmful content, and safety. We may remove content, suspend or block accounts (including by IP), and refer matters to authorities.

Takedown / "notice of concern" procedure

If you believe content on List-It is unlawful, infringes your rights (e.g. copyright or privacy), is defamatory, or breaches our rules, email info@list-it.nz with: 1. your name and contact details; 2. a link to the content; 3. what's wrong and why (the right or law affected); and 4. for IP claims, confirmation you're the rights-holder or authorised to act.

We'll acknowledge and review promptly, and remove or restrict content where appropriate. We may pass your notice (without your contact details where possible) to the person who posted the content so they can respond.

Business listing concerns

To claim, correct, restrict or remove a business listing sourced from the NZBN register, see /legal/your-listing.

Complaints

We aim to resolve complaints fairly and quickly. Email info@list-it.nz describing the issue and the outcome you want. If we can't resolve it, you may be able to escalate to:

  • Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz) — privacy issues.
  • Commerce Commission (comcom.govt.nz) — Fair Trading Act / consumer issues.
  • Netsafe (netsafe.org.nz) — harmful digital communications.
  • Disputes Tribunal / courts — for legal claims.

Law enforcement

We cooperate with valid, lawful requests from New Zealand authorities and may disclose information where required by law or to prevent serious harm.

This is general information, not legal advice. A NZ lawyer reviews these before launch (spec §22.2).
